test pipe installation

has anyone installed thier own test pipes? From what I understand, they aren't too difficult to install, so Im hoping to do them myself this afternoon. Has anyone done this? Any tips or important info for me?

It should pretty straight forward. Here's a link for some tips on install. This is for cats, but test pipes are the same.

You might need to get to the top nuts facing the engine from the top of the engine bay instead of from the bottom. It's a little tight to fit any wrenches up there, so you may need several extension pieces.

The hardest part is getting the cats off....after that, it's a breeze. Good luck!

he pretty much covered it. top bolts are MUCH easier done from the top of the engine bay. try getting about to extensions and you should be ok. do you have access to an air gun? or a lift? anything? that helps A LOT! its just the top bolts that are hard, after all that its just common sense

got them in, no CEL. Toook forever, we had some trouble with some bolts, but it worked out. Some rasp in the 2500 rpm range, but other than that sounds good. Feels like I gained some, but not a ton. Feels good though.
