I am sorry Mr_pharmD, I thought that this is MREV-V2 thread. Perhaps we should just let go? Peace

Although dyno showed no gains, Cypher is showing slightly more airflow with MREV-V2:

_DYNO-RUN_ | MAX MAF GM/S
-----------|-------------
_PRE_RUN-1 | 174.99
_PRE_RUN-2 | 173.99
_PRE_RUN-3 | 173.81

POST_RUN-1 | 177.47
POST_RUN-2 | 177.47
POST_RUN-3 | 176.51
POST_RUN-4 | 175.85

Since you have greater airflow coming in, would having a higher flow exhaust equate to more power? Thanks.

Do you have a UTEC or ECU piggyback? How are you going to do that? Cipher cannot modify that, can it?

None yet. It’s all about warranty.
No I am not aware of Cipher being able to modify injectors pulse.

A/F ratio was a concern of mine regarding this mod... I spoke to DaveO to inquire and there just isn’t any definitive until more dynos are reported... I plan to take the car to Technosquare for tune if I go with this mod... hopefully they can keep air/fuel in line.

Tony, I was under the assumption that you had already done testing on the revup motors? It looks like my mrev2 gets hear on friday. I sure hope this works on my already MREVed G. These dynos don't have me feeling very confident!

The bottom line here appears to be that for non-REVUP motors, the MREV-2 and spacer provide similar gains. They do little to complement one another.

I think this interpretation is correct as I have yet to see the combo provide significant gains - either on this site or my350z. (Without a re-tune)

I don't feel as bad that I missed out on the sale now, I suppose...

Kudos to Tony for working out the engineering on this. I would probably prefer the lower collector over the spacer if I were starting fresh today. I might still go for both with a retune if the price is right though (hint, hint - continue sale??? )....

I've emailed motordyne twice trying to get pricing and availability on the mrev2, a spacer, anything.

Once I called, but whomever I spoke to didn't seem to have time to speak back with me.

Sorry to barge into this thread, but I thought maybe MD checks it once and awhile, and could somehow contact me.

I want/wanted to purchase the Mrev2 or whatever it's termed for my 03.5

Thanks

I'm sure Tony is a very busy man right now, but from what I heard, there will be more Mrev v.2 available in a couple of weeks, but it will no longer go for the sale price.

Sorry about that. The volume of phone calls, emails and PM's is much higher as of recently. I need to hire someone to take care of the technical customer support while I work on supply chain management and research&development.

PS we will have much more in stock in early June.

Hey guys!
Here's the first dyno of MREV2 with 5/16" spacer on a REVUP engine.
Excellent results!

Tony can you clarify what the five superimposed plots refer to?
