It looks about what you would expect for the change in HP.
Most importantly, A/F is still within nominal as it approaches redline.

Do you think the 15 down to 12 is the car or the collector?... I'm sure a tune would help straighten it out right? At what point should we be concerned about too lean? I've already planned on returning to TS if/when I get this because I figured AFR would be skewed.

I value you input Tony - please advise. Thanks

Either one or both.

If you can get a TS reflash, that would always be helpfull no matter what.

If you already have a reflash, you will be much less likely to need one in the future but the dyno will always give you a definitive answer.

Is there a core exchange or extra machining that can be done on an MREV+ to bring it up to a MREVv2?
If so how much?

In this case there will be a price adjustment. Contact me via email. It will take special arrangements.

Three and half months after

Three and half months later I had dyno again on same MRC Dyno Dynamics machine. Only change to the car since last dyno is two degrees Cipher advanced timing during these 3.5K miles.

This time HP is 233.9, Dyno Dynamics uncorrected and 264.6 HP corrected.
I am not sure now that MREV-V2 was leaning AF or if ECU adjusted to it, but looking at all my dynos from before my AF curve haven’t been much better regardless of now funny looking part before 4K RPM:Blue AF line on the chart below is from just before MREV-V2 was installed on 2006-05-06 and red line is from last Sunday 2006-08-27.

Torque and HP charts below are both from 2006-08-27 (green line is 5th gear and red is 4th gear).

Dovla,
Thanks for posting the follow-up. Guess you did the MRC weekend Dyno day. ?? Your A/F ratio still looks high, especially in the lower rpm range. What's MRC suggesting at this point?
I have almost identical car and mods but have been reluctant to shell out $1000+ on the UTEC.
Also, I sugg following the Cobb Tuning thread on 350Z site. Looks like it might be a less expensive and possibly more powerful alternative to UTEC. Cobb is very well respected in the Subaru circles - I think MRC also knows about Cobb. No EMU to add and all tuning goes right onto factory ECU from the OBDII port. Full OBDII scanner, logging and CAN control as well. It will even allow you to switch btw several MAPS and back to factory settings on the fly. This could be the ideal solution for about $600. If all this is true I can't wait to get my hands on it. My buddy has one and swears by it for his STI.

Thanks again.

dolva,

Thank you for the follow up. That would be as Tony had originally thought in his initial MREV+ thread for the non RevUp. He had said that the combo might require tuning. I would be quite curious to see if any non RevUp owners, whom have the MREV2/spacer combo, have tuned their cars and what the results may have been.

It appears that the non RevUp owners still have 2 excellent Motordyne options before them . . . The test proven spacer or the totally stealth installation of the MREV2.
