Will Borla or aftermarket exhaust pass emissions?
Do you guys know anything about? I was thinking and it seems like borla exhaust doesn't have cat? or does it have its own cat and will it pass Colorado emissions?

Re: Will Borla or aftermarket exhaust pass emissions?
All the aftermarket systems are cat back, which means the stock cats remain, unless you remove them or replace with them with test pipes, longer headers, or cats with more flow. Thus, emissions will not be affected with an after market eshaust, or a custom exhaust that's designed to be a cat back system. BTW, the "G" has two cats, one for each cylinder bank, and they're located directly behind the exhaust manifolds.

My TD Borla system was installed from the cats back, so the emissions shouldn't have changed.

A cat back exhaust means it replaces all the piping and such from the cat back (Y-pipes, etc.) So yea, the Borla is a cat-back like previously stated and is 50 state legal. Contact their customer service hotline or visit their webpage for more info.
