Keep 5/16" Spacer or change it out for the MREV++?
i just installed my mrev 2 and the first test drive..wow. my car seems to be more responsive and louder combined with my popcharger. it has meaner growl now. ive never been in a car with a spacer so i wouldnt know the difference but i love my mrev 2!!

I removed the spacer for now...
Running with just MREV-2
The engine sounds smoother now. (better ballanced flow??)
The exhaust is a little quieter than with the spacer,
but has a smoother richer sound. I like it much better....

I know truplay...But damn i just got the spacer like 1 1/2 months ago too. How much you think i could sell the spacer for? Well the Mrev2 are still out of stock...Don't know when would Tony get some more orders in. I wondering if tony will still b offering us the intro price? I'm still thinking about the Mrev2 tho. You know how it feels when something new comes out...you just gotta have it n throw out the old one...lol

I installed my MREV2 a couple days ago and I still cannot tell the difference. At first, it did feel like the upper end of the RPM's went by slower than before. I really didn't like that. Maybe it's because it provides alot of torque/hp starting at ~2k rpm (as seen on some charts) and I cant feel it because it progresses evenly through the RPM band (before it kicked in at ~4500rmp).
I have an 05 AT sedan. Mods before MREV2:K&N/z-tube/alphawerks headers/coupe middy. Side note: Several months ago I added Crawford cats to this set-up and the car felt like it lost tq in the lower RPM. I only felt a gain at above 5500rpm. When I took them off, I got my tq back and lost very little up top. But it still felt faster than stock. I wonder if now that I'm supposed to get more airflow/better power with the MREV2, I should try the cats on my car again?
Just my .03 cents with a couple questions

I've been corresponding with Tony @ Motordyne via e mail and he says that it is okay to use the MREV2 and a 5/16 inch spacer at the same time on Rev up engines. He actually recommended doing it that way.
Oh yeah and MREV2's should be available again by early June. I wonder if we can get a group buy going or if we can still get the discounted introductory price??

does your gas mileage go down substantially with MREV, MREV2 or the spacers? I'm wondering because I'm tryin to save the big bux on gas...but I would like the additional power..hehe

For you folks whom have the MREV+ and spacer combo currently installed, I will post up my comments in about a weeks time with regard to swapping out the MREV+ for the MREV2.
