Ground clearance - Body Kits.

Unfortunately, when browsing for all the different body kits, nowhere do vendors mention the ground clearance of each.

I'd be interested in getting a body kit, to complement my airplane look, but need input on ground clearance - since I'd need as much ground clearance as possible.

So, for all body-kit owners out there - I'd appreciate feedback on the maximum ground-clearance from your installed body kit.

Thanks.

I have Kuruma Z and I have about 5 inches on stock suspension I think. Make sure you get urathane bumper as I scrape almost everywhere and I would have cracked the bumper if it was made of fiberglass.

My Nismo front scrapes on 70% of driveways, parking lot, and drive-thru entrances. My kenstyle side skirts scrape on 90% of speed bumps.

I've had good luck with driveways, etc. with my NISMO front, but I'm also still at the OEM ride-height.

That said, I ran over a shoe in the roadway (maybe 15-20mph) and it was enough to clip the bottom of the bumper. Being fiberglass, the resulting push into the headlight caused spider-web cracks in the paint right under the headlight. Time to hit the bodyshop for those other details I want done.

Avoid Kenstyle/Topsecret/Greddy... Prob the worse for clearance (including sideskirts). They tend to make them come out more in the front also, so it will be harder to clear things.

I've had the Nismo and the TopSecret on my car.. The TopSecret is a hard bumper to drive on. I'm on Stechs. I can't avoid soda cans on the road by going over them anymore.

+1 on the nismo front bumper. it also picks up alot of rock chips because of the flat plow-like design
