Just paint the metal bar black, & then install mesh, problem solved.

that's why you're suppose to put a black mesh over it. I believe that is a support bar or something...just in case someone rear ends you, you know? :P i'd leave it on and cover it with a mesh...that's what everyone does.

You do have holes..................!

Yea, that looks like the rear brace to keep someone
from hitting your gastank upon impact. Easy fix,
mask off the area around the brace like 3 feet. Spray
flat black and it will disapear. Or you could mark off
the area that shows thru your new bumper, remove
the bumper and cut the area that shows with a plasma cutter then reinstall the bumper. I vote for
paint myself!

two options:

-paint the brace black & install mesh on the bumper

-install CF inserts behind those openings in the bumper & seal it up.

I did option one on my KS rear bumper

Mine is painted black I believe or mesh from customautomesh.com is hiding the bar really well. I am using 1/8" mesh.

The metal bar is the actual bumber.Best thing to do is remove the bumper cover, paint the bumper and add some mesh to the cut out areas.
