Stock Rock Guard?

I have these two clear stickers on my car. Are these rock guards? They came with the car so i didnt want to remove them. Has anyone removed these? Are these normal?

One is by the back wheel, it looks kinda like a triangle and the other is a rectangle inside the door area, runs along the door sills.

I took mine off because it turned yellow. It's supposed to protect the paint in that area because that area sticks out more and just begging for rock chips. Same goes for the sills area, protect the paint because you're more likely to scratch that part with your shoes.
