so it's just the area that's beneath the bulbs that lights up and not the whole license plate?

what do you mean? sorry, im confused by your question

the pic was taken in my pitch black garage so the only lights you are seeing are the tail lights and license plate v-leds.com leds.

as you can see the leds light up the license plate very well..

oh i think i see what you mean..are you talking about the center of the license plate where it is a bit more dim? if thats what youre talking about then yes..but you can still see the entire plate if you look at the second picture

eh, i like them

but if you dont like how they only light directly beneath themselves you can also use them for your sidemarkers or city lights

(these pictures were taken without flash..)

I haven't gotten around to it yet, but I'm going to take mine out all together.
Who cares about showing off your tag anyways, it's all about the Car, not which state, cnty you're from. I guess you might want to show off your vanity? But either way, like the man said "The Dimmer, The Better.", or totally off for that matter.

Really? Wow, I haven't thought about that. I wonder what they do for cars that don't have lights for the tags? Not sure how far back, but surely, the tag lights weren't always around? Anyone?....

Thanks for the heads up btw.
