Getting My Windows tinted tomorrow. any last words?
Well i've been dyin to do this since i got my baby. Total cost is gonna be $214.42 Its from a highly recommended place in Chula vista/bonita California.
they had three options for charcoal. 5%, 20%, and some other lighter one.
I'm choosing to get the rear 5% and 20% on the front. But i'm also a little scared that its gonna be too dark maybe?? i have the black interior and they told me they dont have 15% which i would've loved on the rear. But i guess the 5% Limo should be good? Does anyone have any regrets going with the 5% on the rear? I know its gonna look darker than it is because of the color of my interior. But i guess it should give me more privacy.
Thoughts, comments, suggestions are welcome!!!

i live in chula vista, south of sandiego. My other option was to go 20% all around... being that my interior is dark making it appear darker than it is.. ne pictures of a RED G with tint windows? thx!
do you have a moon roof? if so, then you can probably get away with 5% in the front. whenever cops are near by open your moon roof and even your windows a little. the light coming in will make the tint appear lighter than it is. if its cloudy out then youre screwed. but my friends bimmer has 5% all around and he does this when im with him. cops pull by us and dont say a thing. good luck!
or just make a friend who is a cop so he can sign your fix it ticket off like me!
ps - a radar detector wont help. lol it detects radar signals..and cops dont always (rarely ever) have their radar guns on unless theyre camped out. if you rely on yur radar then what are you going to do about those cops that just patrol (w/out their radar on)?

I believe only the issuing department and/or residing sheriffs dept can sign off fix-it tickets for you.

Ive got 5% on the rear window, 15% around and 35% on the windshield. Its a good mix, I still have great vision at night and in bad weather, and the darker rear window helps make the sides look a little lighter than they are. I think youre going to have a good setup
