www.customautomesh.com

If you wanna save shipping since you're in Northern NJ, you can pick it up, but it would cost you more in gas and tolls then it will be to ship. Should be about 4-5 beans to ship.

customautomesh ships fast.... but their grills are plastic...

I bought some from them and used them until I found metal grills locally, at of all places Pep-Boys, yeah... Don't laugh.

It comes in a 1 x 3ft sheet that you have to cut to size but I like them much more than the plastic.

If you go with the automesh go with the 1/4".... the 1/8" is too small IMO and cold impede airflow...

The reason we utilize plastic mesh is to avoid the chipping you will get with painted metal mesh.

For front applications, we reco the larger mesh. The smaller mesh works well for rear applications or smaller opening such as ings fenders or custom hoods. The smaller mesh just doesn't have enough rigidity for larger openings. In addition, I don't really trust it's strength for front bumper applications. The larger mesh is more rigid and extremely strong.

You can certainly use mesh from HD or Lowes, but IMO it will look like...well like you got it from HD or Lowes. It all depends on the look you're going for.

+1

I think this plastic mesh looks much better than that metal chicken wire... the metal stuff chips AND rusts.

i actually inquired about getting some more of the larger mesh for the front bumper, but thought that it may not look right on the bumper. i'm using their mesh for the front grill and definitely agree 1/4 is the way to go. maybe if i ever catch up w/ Diesel1 locally, i'll pick up some more to try it out.

I was thinking that if they made one for the sedan, it may look better if its recessed a bit vs. appearing right at the edge of the inlet. I was planning on doing a foglight mod like Psycraft did w/ the e46 fogs, but that splitter gets in the way. A mesh vent would make it a lot easier and it would look cleaner.

We can cut your mesh to any size you want.....well almost. Basically any size that would fit on a car we can do. Pricing we can work out but the ordering for that would be tricky. If you have an off size not listed on our website, I can find the total square footage you need and compare it to what we already have in our database. We would then find the closest possible match (without going over) and go from there for billing purposes.

I am currently working with a well respected member here for a custom application on his G and that's how we did it! When I get home from work today, I will be cutting and shipping orders! Unfortunately work has been crazy and I haven't been able to ship orders as quick as I want to be able to!

Thanks!
Drew

Again any questions can be sent to my personal email acart13@yahoo.com
