I took my car to the body shop today to install the impul replica sides, however since it does not have the clips like the authentic sides and the clips in the door are rectangular and not circular my body guy was unsure of how to proceed installing it while still making it look good. Could you guys who have bought and installed the impul replica sides let me know how your body shop did it and how it came out (pictures with door open if you have). TIA

 

mines came with nothing but i gave the sides to my bodyshop guy and he knew what to do. dont know exactly what he did but it turned out good. sorry i cant help you but maybe take it to someone who has experience dealing with fiberglass replica kits

 

im at the best shop on the island, he could drill into the car intself but he doesn't want to except as a last resort. the problem isn't the fitment, he can handle that its that there arn't any clips attached to the replica where there would be for oem or authentic impul sides to go into the rectangular openings in the door sill to attach it to the car. Anyone know how their shop did it?

This is what my shop did...VERY secure. I need to take it back next week to get the eyelids and grille installed, and they're going to paint the screws white to blend in.
