Help: very small spots in the side windows' tint
Help: very small spots in the side windows' tint
My tint is around two years ago, and recently, I discovered that there are some very small (around size #40: ~.100" DIA) holes on the tint, may I ask if there is any ways I can fix this or the tint has to be removed and scraped..
FYI: it is not a DIY job or cheap tint job... I paid around $250 for the tint job

That's not a dumb question at all, it is a verbal warranty that I had... because it was thru a small shop who has a "pro- tinter" that goes around different shops..
I would try to go back to the shop when I have holidays...
but the real question is, would I want the same guy to touch my tints again?

The flim is two years old as you stated, so unless the holes were there right after he tinted the windows, I would conclude that the flim just plain failed, not the tinter's fault. It sounds like the begining process of the flim's adhesive failing. I assumed holes ment bubbles, because if holes=holes, it probably won't be covered. Also it doesn't really matter how much you paid for your tint job, if they used crappy flim, there's no amount of money that will keep the tint from fading and bubbling.

Take it back and have them fix it. No questions asked.
