When I installed my Gialla grill there were no fasteners located at the bottom of the grill. I simply applied a thin strip of weather stripping to the bottom of the grill to protect the painted bumper and fastened the grill at the top. It's been about 8 months and some 10k miles . . . No issues or problems yet.

Yep, double sided tape is the way to do it.

The weather stripping material I used has an adhesive on only one side. You may opt to choose either an open cell foam type backing or a neoprene backing. I did not use a double sided adhevsive, because I did not want to get the adhesive on my bumper.
