i like the CF against IP as well, but saw a silver bimmer the other day that had his hood matched where you can still see the weave in it. Looks amazing in person. It's the subtle details like that i can really appreciate, especially if you aren't rocking any other CF pieces it kinda looks out of place.

I've had my ts carbon hood well over a year now, and its turning yellowish due to exposure of sun..since i do live in Florida. Since i just received my ts front bumper on Friday, my black coupe will be going in the shop this coming week to have the front painted...so i now decided that i might as well paint my cf hood.
However, I want the carbon weaves to still be visible, but i've never seen a carbon hood painted black that still has the weaves visible. Ive seen other colors, but not black (since after all, carbon is black). My guess is they'll just throw a black pearl over it to bring back the color of the carbon hood.
