Does anyone know how to convert an 04 G35 bumper cover to the 06 sports tuned package bumper cover? Any help will be much appreciated.

 

If you mean swapping out your old 04 front bumper for a 06 sport front bumper it should be a direct swap. Or so I've read for a coupe, not sure if the sedans are a direct swap though.

 

Unofrtunately, it's not a direct swap as I was told by the parts and service dept.

 

hmmm forum wise I've heard its a direct swap, at least I hope so. I just bought a 06 sport bumper from an 05 owner.

 

ive always heard that its a direct swap........and im pretty sure it is...

doesnt really make sense for them to change anything other than the actual shape of the bumper cover itself..i know its definitely possible to put the 06 sport bumper on an 05

The dealership is wrong, it absolutely is a direct swap. RBull did this to his coupe as well, his is an 04.

 

It is a direct swap. I did mine about two months ago. My dealer did not know if it would work but my auto body shop had no trouble. Go here for the pics of my 6mt w/brembos and '06 sport bumper.
