Gialla Grill gap problems... Any suggestions?
Thanks for the replies. After several weeks, I'm finally content. I put a small piece of aluminum behind the grill to support the middle. It pushed it up just a hair but it's enough for me. Now I don't even notice the gap anymore (but it's still there)!
As for the paint matching... they just went off the factory color code and I closed my eyes and prayed. It turned out pretty good, but if you look REAL close, you can tell there's a tad more yellow in the color of the grill.

I have the same gap issue as you, and was wonering if you could take a pic of what you described above?
I just bought some aluminum at ACE Hardware and painted it flat black. Then I cut it so it's just a tad long. When you squeeze it in there, it helps support the center. See the pics below:
^^im assuming on the authentic gialla grille there are several mounting points just like the sp grille.
basically, there are a bunch of wires around the perimeter of the grille that you stick the mesh through. then you bend the wires back to hold them in place. sorry, not a very good explanation..but im assuming thats how the authentic grille is too
