I guess it just depends on what hood they ship. Some are better then others.

 

adjust your latch. I've seen it a hundred times. If that doesn't work shoot me a PM and I'll give you some more pointers.

 

what's up...bro, can you please tell me how to exactly adjust the latch.

 

there should be 2 10mm bolts that hold your latch mechanism in place. Simply unbolt the bolts and slide the latch mechanism down about 1/4-1/2". You may need to remove your front bumper to get at the bolts on the latch mechanism.

 

My bodyshop just install my new bumper yesterday, is there anyother way to do this without removing my bumper.

 

There are actually 3 for the latch mechanism. You will need to remove your grill, that way you can actually tighten the bolts down when the hood is shut.

 

Ok i am going yo sears to pick up 10mm wrench, wish me luck ......

 

Get the flex head gear wrench set. I wrench a TON and these are the best wrenchs Ive ever used! I thought you had already adjusted the latch. Thats how mine looked after adjustment. I guess I just got a real bad one,lol.

I have had to use a hammer to knock the latch toward the rear of the car just so little. Then I adjusted the latch up and down to get the proper height.

 

Allright guys finally problem solved. You guys were rite all i had to do is adjust the latch which was easy, anways thank you everyone for your help especially bobshuai, G352NV & chucky...also carbonltd.
