Aero Kit Under Body Ground Clearance

I tried searching for this before posting. Newbie at this forum.

On the infiniti.com site it says the Aero Kit with Spoiler 4-piece includes:
• Accessory Rear Spoiler
• 2 Under Body Diffusers
• 2 Under Covers
• Front Bumper Chin Spoiler
• Aero body splash guards

Does anyone know if this lowers the minimum ground clearance (or not)? Some of the nearby shopping centers have steep entrances into the parking lot and speed bumps galore. Thanks

Re: Aero Kit Under Body Ground Clearance

It flushes with the underbody so it will not change the height of the car to the ground. Basically what they do is redirect the jet stream out to the sides of the car. From what I heard, the chin spoiler just longates the front but it does not go lower than the lip guard. So if there is a really steep exit, it *might* scrape depending on your angle and speed.

- Don't argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.=P-

Yes. All the Aero kit stuff (other than the front spoiler) is just tacked on top of the base sedan body. The front spoiler is a complete bumper assembly, so requires removal of the stock bumper cover.

Re: Aero Kit Under Body Ground Clearance

I have the NISMO (factory) kit and have no problem with clearances. This includes curbs, speed bumps and those extra wide speed bumps. I am thinking about taking it down and inch.

Re: Aero Kit Under Body Ground Clearance

I have the whole aero kit and the front chin spoiler is about an Inch lower than the stock bumper. It is lower than most of the parking curbs so the thing you should watch out is how close you park from it. Other than that, it clears speedbumps fine. By the way the front mudguard is actually the one that scrapes the most over speedbumps.

I have the Stillen chin spoiler and it is lower than the front bumper. I ALWAYS have to watch how close to the curb I'm parking, as well as coming out of steep driveways.
