Help with OEM front chin lip
I just had a body shop install my OEM front lip and have a question on the installation. I have a rubber molding that runs the length of the lip, in other words the lip does not sit flush against the bumper. Basically, the black rubber molding about eighth inch thick is beween the top of the lip and the bumper.
I've seen alot of pictures but never noticed any type of molding or is it that I just didn't see it. I've looked at the instructions and it makes no mention of any type of molding.
I would appreciate any info....if the install is done incorrectly I would take my car back and have it corrected.
Thanks in advance,
Mark

The lip comes with that on it.

I'm wondering how noticable it would be if I took the lip off when I decide to sell the car?
After looking at the instructions, I didn't want to screw it up so I paid $120 to have it installed. Ray at the body shop said it was 2 hours worth of labor.
