im planning on ordering my seibon cf OEM hood from carbon limited friday...and i need some help..first of all is there any thing i should know when caring for the CF?..do i need to have some protective layer put on it..and when washing and waxing is there anything special i have to do?

besides that i wanna get a gialla replica grill but im not sure if i want it in CF or twilight blue (my color)...then throw on a type n (nismo replica) front bumper...heres my question..should i get the grill in CF to match the hood or twilight blue to match the bumper/rest of car...by the way im still on my stock 18's and dont plan on upgrading..how do you guys think it would look? (cf hood, cf/tb grill, nismo front, stock 18's)

regular washing and waxing will be fine for the hood. I would wax every 3-4 weeks. I would suggest getting the CF grill to match the hood.

 

i'd go twilight grill but if you're getting a nismo front then i would get CF inserts for the bumper...in my opinion unless you paint the edges of your hood it doesn't really flow well into the grill, but that's just me

i can't find a pic that i was looking for, but on the nismo front the lower two grills that look like oversized oem grills Klumzyee has CF inserts that sit inside(you can see the lines in the bottom grill that would be replaced with CF) it, as for the upper grill if you look at the car head on the grill isn't as wide as the hood, therefore if you color match the outer edges of the hood running length wise along the fender it flows much better into the grill

 

so you mean paint the outer edges twilight blue so it flows into the grill and bumper better?...i think i get what you mean..how does cf look if its painted?

exactly, when looking head on at the car just above the upper grill edges paint the hood to the left and right twilight blue. CF can be painted just like fiberglass, urathane, etc. hope this owner doesn't mind me posting this as an example

as far as i know, klumzyee has it for the cheapest but is only available in glass. its cheaper than intensepower's replica and he guarantees fitment or he will send you a new one...or something like that lol

themodycity.com has a poly version. i used to have it, fitment was not 100% perfect though
