Greddy Side Skirts Question?
Sometimes next week, i am dropping my car off to the bodyshop in the morning to get my greddy side skirt installed. However until last night just had me thinking, with my "350z" tein S-tech, how bad will i scrape once i get that side skirts installed?.
I also hope that i wouldn't have to go through any problems putting the car on the lift. Anyways those with greddy side skirts please chime inn.....

Hey Shawn! Hows everything going? Still loving those Test Pipes [so does the EPA!]. I have the GReddy fron and sides on my car with 19'' rims and stock suspension. I have the same exact springs [came off a 350Z] and the reason I haven't put them on yet is because I was going to do it at the dealer but when they go to lower the car off the lift... it will hit. As it is we have to lift up on the car to get the lifts under the side skirts. They say the springs will lower the 350Z .5 and .7'' and it will lower the G about 1.0'' all the way around... Good luck and post pics!

How low are your 350Z S. Techs in comparison to the G35 model? I have G35 S. Techs and it sits pretty low. I have to drive on 2 pieces of wood, 1 at a time to get onto the lift. Other than that, if you know how to drive a lowered car, you'll be fine. I have about 4" of clearance for mine, just ANGLE!!

here some pics...everywhere i go they will not lift the car because they say they will break (because i guess there is too much space between the skirts and the actual frame of the car), so i have to take them off in order for them to LIFT it...gettin over/onto the lfit is no problem...LIFTING it is the issue...but Greddysetgo, you can take your car to the dealer and they lift your car no prob with the sideskirts still on? nice ride btw

Those sides look to be about similar size as GReddy. Its true, there is too much gap between the bottom of the skirt and the lift points, but most lifts have an arm you can flap up, or twist up to make it higher.
I have my own shop and my own lift, so I put it on myself, and its fine. But yes, the dealer has done it too w/o any problems.

I'll take some pics of the little flaps on the arms that I'm talking about when I go to work later.
Pretty much all lifts has some type of adjustment point on the arms, they are mostly used for trucks and things like that when they are really high off the ground. But work great in this case also.
