Seibon CF Hood

Have had the hood about a month and hood is splitting down the front and a little on the side. Called Seibon about the problem and was gave the run around and was told they could not help me. So I reminded them they have a 6 month warranty on their parts, but they said it couldn't be a defect because their products are top guality. Then they said I must have damaged the hood my self and I am just looking for a new hood for free. So I just got SCREWED!!!!... BEWARE does this sound like a company you want to do busniess with. Let this be a warning, if you by one of their hood or any other products there is no warranty even if they say there is. My hood is proof

talk to the distributor where you bought it from. Seibon doesn't like to deal with the general public and the shop you bought it from might have a better go at it. Sorry to hear about the damage. Post some pictures. Do you have hood pins? How was fitment?

I got the hood for HOPUPRACING.com I e-mailed them, then they sent my e-mail with the pics to Seibon where I talked to Mikey. The hood fit fine. No hood pins

Were they cracks in the clear coat or in the structure itself? I've never heard of anything like this. I dont see why it would crack unless someone could have vandalized it. I think the pictures would help alot, e-mail them to me and I'll host them...postmaster@CarbonLimited.com

I also dont understand why Seibon decides to let distributors deal with all their problems. I dont understand why the manufacturer doesn't deal with the situations themselves? it seems like seibon don't really care about their customers, they just let the distributors take care of all the red tape.

I've got defective parts replacement for customers without any hassle. Its not Seibon who is at fault, that would be hopupracing where he purchased the hood. Its up to the distributor when you purchased the product to make things right. Always do your research on any company you plan to purchase from online.
