I kinda like Silverbolt's chop especially if you have a black roof.

Is it fiberglass, JDM_G35? I don't know how long a fiberglass trunk is going to last with all the opening/closing and stress from the struts.

They're both carbon fiber

Okay... I just got more info. Mastergrade was the original company that made this mold, but they went out of business. My friend's friend owns his own company, and bought the molds and added it to his line of car parts. He uses the same mold, but his CF that he uses is a MUCH higher quality than what Mastergrade used. I saw it for myself, and the carbon fiber wasnt just layed over some fiberglass... it was actually put into a mold and into a vacuum to be compressed. Right now, I know I can get it at a super low price, but I wont be able to find out exactly what it is untill later this weekend.

So as I was saying... Asuka bought Mastergrade's mold and is making them at a higher quality. Asuka is actually a small branch from the main company, and is still new. To my knowledge, they dont have a working website yet. Give me more time, and I'll get you more info, and info on how to purchase it. Right now, they're best known for their CF trunks for the 350Z's. and IMO, the 350z's trunks are way sexier

^++++!!!

I was just expecting this to be a CF trunklid. Not an atrocity of engineering!

BTW that Z is sick. Thats what I was hoping to see on the G!!!

CF hood + CF roof + CF trunklid = HOTNESS

Engineering wise... the G35 trunk "works" As far as the looks, I'll admit, its pretty out there.

Contact info. If you're interested, contact the good folks at http://dtmautohaus.com/store/ and they'll give you more info. I think the G35 trunks are about $600 right now, and that price will only be like that untill mid feb.

^^damn, why couldnt they do the G like that

im sure many of u out there keep up with bmw. well the m3 csl has a modified rear bootlid (trunk) form the normal m3... why couldnt asuka/mastergrade make a mold of something like that? more subtle and classy. if your racing your car, props to you, go for this, if not, i wouldnt touch it. sorry, its grown on my more since the first time, but its still at the bottom of the list of body mods, ide get underglow before this... and i will never get underglow :/

Yeah... thats what I've been wanting too. But if you look at our trunks, we just dont have that much room to have something like that. Our tail lights take up most of the room, and the room between the tail lights is just too small. As much as I would want something subtle like that, I think it would look akward if it was done on our trunks :/

I dont see anything on their site about these parts. I thought mastergrade was still open just under new ownership and new location. I've heard performance nissan is Asuka..I'm confused.
