Little light for analog clock

I am wondering why the little lights in my analog clock burned up. I took it out when I did the install for my PA11-NIS and since then it hasnt lit up. The clock works fine though. Could I have broken the filiments on them from moving it? Where can I get these lights... does autozone or something carry them?

if you're gonna be in there, throw in some leds or something. of course, you'll have to wait longer, but now would be the time to make little mods here and there assuming you want a different look.

for some unknown reason (to me) the bulbs go out when you take the front out to install something. There are 2 bulbs. about $50 bucks (canadian) for both at the dealer

No ****, I thought I did something when I installed my PAC unit. Same exact thing happened to me. Never re-opened it to check it out. Let us know if you figure out the problem.

I opened it up a little while ago and it looks like the filiment is actually broken.

You can get these bulbs from the dealership. The part number for the clock bulbs is: 24860-AM620

See: http://www.infinitihelp.com/Ownershi.../ITB03-065.htm

Of course you can always try to retrofit some LED's in place of these bulbs.

This is interesting at least, multiple reports that after removing the clock, the lamps blow. In my case, I installed the Harman Kardon Drive+Play last Summer. Afterwards, the left clock lamp had blown. Tonight, I finished installing the PAC-NIS2 for much improved iPod audio with the D+P and now the right clock lamp has blown.

Therefore, I'll pick up some LEDs at Radio Shack later today. I'm about to open the clock and see what's in there.

What model G do you have? Year? If you're still under warranty, the dealership will fix this for you. I had to have my clock lights replaced in June under warranty.
