I know its an old thread, but man is this weird. I installed the PAC-NIS2 (having to remove the clock and bezel)... and low and behold the clock backlight doesnt work anymore. Nice to see its a common thing... but its not exactly cheap to replace them ($24 after taxes). I would hate to have to replace them everytime I unplug the clock. Anyway to prevent this from happening in the future?

I've had my center console off twice. Each time, one or both of the lights in the clock would go out. If I tapped on the clock screen enough, the lights would eventually turn on? You all should try that...nothing like a quick and easy fix.

well i just replaced mine... bought some teenie radio shack bulbs for $1.60. they were abit smaller than the stockers but it all went in just the same. Also, the stock bulbs were BURNT up bad... so nothing was going to fix them aside for replacement.

if youre only using 1 LED a 1/4 watt would be fine, but id probably use a 1/2 watt just to be safe.
