The way we did it on my old Integra was use wood screws (because they have deep threads) and then cut the screw head off. We never had a problem with the threads holding on my sideskirts although I wouls only recommend this as last resort. Last resort still being before super glue though hehe.

edit: maybe use like a 3m double side take and the screw thread theory. That 3m doubleside tape is some sticky *** ****. Its like Gorilla Snot slapped on celephane

The authentic Impul sides come with clips that replace the old white ones... they fit right in that square hole and have a threaded center so you can screw the sides into em. I might have taken a pic when I installed mine... I'll look for it.

yeh that's what we figured. we found some clips that fit perfectly and are exactly what you described. they should work fine (i hope). thanks for the heads up though

BTW - i called eric and told him about the situation. i'm going to the shop tomorrow to find out what clips they are using so eric can get some and distribute them as necessary when he sells impul/kenstyle/etc. skirts so others will not run into this problem.

Damn homie... sorry i didnt see this thread earlier... when i test fit mine this past weekend i broke the first initial clip... but then i got a precision screwdriver and popped the rest out.... this way if i ever get rid of the Impuls the OEM will slap right back in.... after i screwed in the skirts on the insides of the wheel well i noticed that the part by the kickplate was pretty sturdy.... then i bolted up the 10mm bolts under the carriage and the kickplate area didnt move at all.... i ended up using 2 self tapping screws by the kickplate to make the part under the fender and the quarter panel flush.... no 3m tape at all.... had to shave a lil bit with a file but other than that it was a good fit! sorry im not in cali homie!!!
