Yeah i planned on using the 3M tape, but i want to avoid having the screw heads visible when the door is open. I am currently fitting the sides to the car before i send it to get painted, if i use the tape when fitting will i be able to get it off again for paint? (i realize i would have to use new tape for final install though)

 

Its gonna be kinda hard.. Dont use the tape yet, just put the screws in the back inside the fenders because u will have to take them off and on to sand down the back side to get them to fit tight.. The screws inside the doors can be painted the color of your car with touch up paint to hide them better..
