Help Debadged but left smears on paint

Hello everyone, i just had my car debadged, but it left smears on the paint.

when taking off the glue from the letters i scrubbed pretty hard and used alcohol, now it looks messed up.

any tips on how to clear this up.

Wd40 or goof off. You could also use thinner.

I debadged my car with a heat gun and peeled the letters off. Then we heated the sticky gummy stuff BUT it still left a residue.

I then took a porter cable with a soft pad, and some #80 DACP and it took it right off.

Yes, you need help.............FLAME!!

There are so many post refering to debadging on this site you couldn't get
them in your trunk!! Why not do a search and find out how to do something
before you jack your car up? That's one of the reasons we're here doing
what we do.........sharing information/knowledge! GooGone would have
removed the glue and not damaged the paint.......but no you did it your way.
