I repainted my front bumper this past summer after 37,000 miles and about that many chips......my front bumper looked like $hit!
I was thinking lately about having the front bumper re-painted and worried about COLOR MATCHING. Should I have it done by Infiniti or can any body shop get the correct 'color code' and do a good job ??

stop driving to close behind big american trucks with no mud guards... every single one of those gigantic trucks with gimungus wheels, every damn one of them, are too "cool" to install those mud flaps to prevent rocks from hitting smaller vehicles...

**** those red necks.

Any body shop can color match your car. They only need the paint code and enter it in the computer.

I would almost guarantee that an outside body shop would do a better job, and you wouldn't have a "middleman" to pay as well......

Heres a couple shots of my car right after I had it repainted.......It actually faded slightly since then, and the color match is really close.....

^+1. Old school paints are very strong. My 1984 MB 190E is still shiny and very little chip damage.
