thin *** paint that's how. I'm saving up for the time when I repaint my whole car properly with some thick coats that can be polished out. stock OB paint is impossible to keep clean...

* i just found another chip on my rear wheel well. I'm getting depressed. It's no longer a black car....more like a chipped color car. Piece of sh*t.

it's ironic. on black cars the chips show up as white......on white cars the chip shows up as black.....whats up with that? why not use white primer on white cars and black on black.....makes sense no?

I repainted my front bumper this past summer after 37,000 miles and about that many chips......my front bumper looked like $hit!

Even after the repaint, which in my opinion matched slightly better than the OEM painted bumper.......the chips just kept coming....guess its the price you pay for waterbased paints today......give me the old lacquer paint loaded with VOC's
