Anyone installed OEM Chin Spoiler without Rubber Rail(or rubber gasket)???

Anyone installed OEM Chin Spoiler without Rubber Rail(or rubber gasket)???

I bought White Chin spoiler from member here and trying to install it for myOB coupe...My painter just painted it but he found out there is gray rubber gasket that does not match....so Im trying to install it without gasket...Anyone tried without it???I am worrying about gap between spoiler and bumper...thank you~!!

you should leave it..
in my old car it was black..
but helps prevent scratches..

I wish i could just buy that rubber gasket from dealership...I should ask them first thank you for reply
