Well the biggest thing I've been looking for when shoping it the material of the hinge and the angle that the doors go up. Balla seams to have the same problem that alot of kits have with not going straight up. the seam to sag out a bit. More of a 80% than a 90%. Chizeld's look like they are actually straight up. Both cars really look killer though. Can't wait to order my kit.
I personally like the LAMBO doors but
i heard it gets annoying after a while..pushing the door up$down will get old
unless you can find something that will go up and down automatically
for you
do whatever you wanna do with your G bro..
it's your car!

Yeah or on roadsters. But I don't like it much for daily use on a G...

Seems like Lambo door is such a taboo subject here. It's hard getting info about this on the forum. You'll end up with more flame posts than informative ones. But here's my attempt to help you. If you're in San Diego area, I'd suggest that you go to GT Factory and purchase the kit from them. They'll also install it for you at a price and I highly recommend that you let them install it.
Their kit is a weld-on(permanent)kit so you need to think long and hard about the future of your car. They are coming out with a bolt-on version of the kit but I'm not sure how reliable that one is going to be. I have the weld-on kit and been living with it for the last 8 months. I love how it looks and it's very functional when you're in a tight parking space. Not to mention when you're parked on the street and you can just swing the door all the way up without having to worry about oncoming cars hitting your door.
Opening and closing the door isn't a problem for me but you have to constantly remind your passenger that the door goes out and up. My girl sits in the car enough to know how to operate the door but it's other people that you should be concerned.
It's a pain having to remind your service adviser at the dealer when you bring your car in for service. Same goes for valet service. Not to mention that you have to remind your friends/relatives all the time on how to open the door. I wash my car myself but I can see why it can be a problem at the carwash. I fear that the door might come apart with improper opening method by various people so I end up opening and closing the door for them 99% of the time.
The shocks are replaceable but you need to remove the fender and sideskirt to access the shocks. The hinge can flex against your fender, but since our fenders are metal they can flex quite a bit. I don't know how aftermarket fiberglass fenders will fair against the flexing.
Sometimes it can attract too much attention. That can either be good or bad depending on the person seeing your car. More times than not, I find myself opening and exiting the car normally to not attract attention, especially in a crowded area. My car has been keyed so many times but I'm not sure if it has to do with my door or someone stuck a "I Love George Bush" sticker on my bumper.
I took out my driver side hinge already and will remove the passenger side later on this week. I have a major service maintenance soon and also planning to mold my sideskirts so I won't be able to access the shocks anymore.
Some pictures to persuade/dissuade you from doing it:
