HELP! Looking for a Strong Adhesive

I bought some carbon fiber overlays for the battery covers to match my carbon fiber Z-Tube. The adhesive on the back of these did not hold up and this is after I cleaned the covers with dish detergent, alcohol and then used the adhesive promoter. After about a month the overlays started to peal off. I'm not sure if this is because of cold or heat or just poor adhesive backing. Anyway, I am looking for an adhesive that will hold these overlays in place for good. I was thinking marine epoxy, but that is kind of messy to work with. Does anyone have any ideas or has used anything that really worked. I need some help as these things were not cheap and I don't want to just toss them out. I appreciate all opinions. Thanks.

I would try contact cement. Both surfaces are flat. Shouldn't be a problem.

definitely that JB weld stuff that comes in two seperate syringes (sp?). it should hold up to the heat for quite a while but be quick about it if you're applying it around heat because it will set with the quickness.

i scuffed up my covers w/ some 600 grit sandpaper and cleaned them w/ soap. then i used crazy glue. i've tried the mixed plastic epoxy and that wasn't worth the trouble.

gorilla glue is pretty strong, use a sponge to dampen the back of the piece to be glued, moisture cures the product. becareful applying it, it foams up while it cures. you should try practiceing with it first to get the hang of it.
