Holy Grubbs! Brilliant silver chin, more pics to come

I am a new 05 sedan owner. I bought this car not really knowing all the bells and whistles it came with, but because it had stone interior, 6sp, and it was basically mint. Come to find out, its got it all, except nav. I had been hit by a semi on the highway in my Acura last month, and couldnt justify keeping it after almost $11000 damage.

Yesterday, I set up a few appointments, because, like so many, the bug has me. (Wife says not for long) One was to have it tinted all around with 35. The other was to have the dealer fix the creak in the rear door. (Yes I have that too) Then, ordered some clear corners, and a chin spoiler (Grubbs). I was hoping to get the spoiler in time for this weekend so I can install while it is being tinted, or at least the same day.

Well I went home for lunch today, and there it was! Already to me in under 24 hours for 20 bucks shipping! (Thumbs up grubbs!) I was floored. And I even asked the guy on the phone for a tracking number, heh.

Here are some pics before installation.<--they (instructions) look fun

EDIT: spelling

Just got a quote for $108 to install at the dealership. Now I need to decide if I want to DIY.

I thought you could do it yourself? I really would love to see what it looks like on a car so take some good close up pics :-)

Well 100 bucks is pretty respectable. I was expecting a higher quote from this particular dealership. I can do it, and probably will, its just a pita.

I'll def upload pics.

Ok install was a piece of cake. Opted to do it myself, and saved the hundred bucks for pedals. After drilling 12 holes in the bumper, which did make me nervous, it went on like a glove, just like the directions. Yes, I needed them lol. This can actually be done with just one person, but another set of hands really helps. (Thanks J)

I will get pics up after the rainy weather. The lip and tint really transformed the car. Now if I can just get the new pedals on this easy.
