also for colder environments you can get Solarez Polyester resin that will cure as fast as 3 minutes under a UV lamp.

So I got everything set for this now. Got my fiber got my resins rollers brushes & the ***** to to the roof myself in my garage. So wish me luck fellas!

teaser...just sanded it smooth....(and now Im itchy...this resin is like fiberglass..)

he's right...

more sanding...then...more sanding..then...you got it..more sanding.

then clear it...then sand some more.

can you explain the significance behind sanding even tho it looks perfect already ivory? it's already so shiny. if you sand it, won't the CF become dull?

it looks shiny because there's water on it to show the CF..when it dries it's dull.

So I need to sand till it's more clear.

how careful do you have to be to not sand the carbon fiber off?

lol, the you'd have to be sanding for hours to sand through all the coats of resin using a high grit sandpaper
