Somehow I must have been lucky because when I was building my fiberglass box, I wore short sleeve shirts, a mask, and latex gloves when I sanded and never got itchy.

hey guys,

any tips on what kind of carbon fiber cloth to buy? I went to the US composites site but the selection is so huge. Can someone explain the definitions such as 2x2 twill, etc?

http://www.uscomposites.com/carbonpage.html

Thanks.

5.7oz Twill '1st Quality' Carbon Fiber Fabric
that's what you want

the plainweave is small weaves but JDM parts all use that. most companies use the twill that you are most familiar with.
