07 G356mt shift **** in an 04 g35 6mt.

Anyone know if the ***** are interchangeable. I test drove a new 07 yesterday and I really like the feel of the new shift ****.

I have an '04 and it looks just like it. Well the shape of it at least.

Its not even close in the feel, the ball part of the shifter is much smaller, it is about 1/2 shorter and it does not have the 1-6 and reverse gears that are indicated on top of the 03-06 6mt shift ****. The bottom of the **** that leads to the shift boot, is square in shape.

Thats the best description I can give you, and I can't find any close up pics of it.

The Shifter assembly is the same... so the **** will screw on just fine...
