Tint removal

Anyone know what kinda solution I should get to take off the adhesive from window tints? Wanna give my old car to my brother and he prefers to get the tints off.

Thanks.

Re: Tint removal

Hey, go to www.tintdude.com
It's a great site and gives detailed steps on how to take off tint. I've gotta strip the tint off of one of my cars too, and it's best to do it while the weather is still warm. Good luck.

Re: Tint removal

My experience was to grip it and rip it. Then use glass plus to remove the glue. The older tint used some nasty glue that took goof-off to remove.

Re: Tint removal

Thanks for the tips guys - I know it's gonna be a pain regardless of what I do, but I guess I just have to bite the bullet.
