Just read this whole thread. I love the car only complaint would be where you decided to start painting black on the Kenstyle rear.

 

Loving the car just read through the whole page. Only complaint is where you chose to start painting orange on the black part of the Kenstyle rear.

 

where can i get c/f stuff wrapped? lol looks great

 

why did you paint the roof black first? resin doesnt stick well to paint. and the carbon cloth is totally opaque... sooooo ?

 

the black is necessary because it does show through the cloth and the paint sticking is not much of an issue. Look to jdmg35's response you will see what happens when its not painted first. Another way is to just tint the resin

 

how's the overlay holding up?

from the looks of it they let it cure at shop room temperature..?

the resin will only keep it's modulus up to, but not above, the temp it was cured at.

i'm pretty sure a carbon roof would reach close to 200deg under a hot sun. hmmmmm
