nothing happened, the guys all the way in iowa, and i needed 10 people to sign up, only 3 did, so im looking for other options.

why not just put CF film and call it a day?

Call around, you can get CF at lots of places. I got a sheet from a local resin place called Sticky Stuff.

You can also other the fabric from Ebay... and some online stores.


Did you have to prep the roof in anyway? sand it down? primer?

Yeah its better if you prep it down. I sand it down first. then BLACK primer would be good. and you're good to go!!

isn't the whole purpose of carbon fiber to reduce weight such as trunks and hoods. but if this is going on top of your existing metal roof, it's only for cosmetic purposes only, right? i mean, it does look great but it just reminds me of the overlays that some people put around their shifters and door locks.

Was the roof cut out in this project, or CF was just placed on top of it?
