Just the bulbs, just like if you were changing out stock ones. I don't wanna start any debate on this, but you sure you want to go that high? Your visibility, especially in the rain will go down a lot.

i just got myself a set of 8000K last week
it looks super cool alrite, but i did lose some visibility
weird thing that when i had 8000k on my last car (RSX-S), the visibility was better than what i am having rite now.... is it becoz of the housing or something??

You are mistaking glare for visibility. Installing HID kits into halogen housings results in light scattering all over the place including above the cutoff which you are interpreting as "better". While this is occuring you are blinding every other car on the road because of your hotspots and major glare issues.

hum... that might be the problem, however i never had anyone highbeam me or showing any sign that i was blinding them thou....
but anyways, if i knew i would lose this much visibility, i would get the 6000k instead 8000k.

basically..at 8000K you are about 1000 lumens less than 4300K that means you lose about 1000 square feet of lighting area...is all that blue worth your life?

thats with a decent 8000k bulb as well, and lumen output varies so much between all the crappy manufacturers that you will likely lose even more than 1000 lumens. Stock output is 3100-3300lm, philips ultinon 6000k is 2400lm, which are considered the "best" of the 6000k bulbs. 8000k and up and you'll be in the 2000lm or lower range. Thats like losing 30%+ of your stock output
