Ok guys I am looking into a CF hood and it has a crack. So for those of you out there that KNow about painting and repairng CF... how hard is it and how much am I looking at? I am looking at the TS seibon hood and want to leave the CF vents exposed and paint the rest DG. Thanks in advance!

 

I painted my TS hood. I bought it with a crack in it but it turned out fine. The big problem I am having is that after it is painted it looks bad. If you stand in front of it it looks great but if you look at an angle it looks like the hood is all dented. If I run my hand over it, it feels flat. I am saving up some money so I can have it repainted. I have been asking around but no one around my area knows what is wrong with it. Good luck.

 

If the crack is NOT where the vents are it can be repaired with fiberglass or bondo..
