I got the 3m clear bra on my coupe when i first purchased it. you'll find that a lot of people complain about chips on their bumper because the "paint is so cheap"

with the 3m clear bra i dont have any chips so id say yes its worth it

If you are interested in getting it let me know.
I know a guy who does them with the best quality products and the install will be next to perfect.
He has done all of my stuff from smoking tail lights to graphics and clear bra on my carbon fiber hood (I don't have it anymore).

check them out www.instylegraphics.com
If you need more info or just have questions email him or pm me.

I had clear bra put on first week I bought the car(new). Yes, I believe it does help quite a bit.. I do notice very small air pockets on the bottom edge of the bra at the hood. can't see it unless you're cleaning the car.. also, when the sun hits it the right way, you'll see the edge line (or if you arent meticulous about cleaning off the wax. Overall, if you have the money, get and plan a long term relation ship with the car, do it. As a counter point when I see other g's I rarely notice severe chipping problems.. but this one is yours.. protect her.

Clear Bra?

Can you see the bra outline on the car? I am thinking about getting one for a '07 IP Coupe.

You will see the outline when up close, but it is worth it. Bugs will stick to it more, but I have not seen any other disadvantages on my last 2 cars. You can search the web for pre-cut DIY kits if $$ is an issue, but they are not easy to install on the bumpers. Hoods, lights, and mirrors are not too tough if you closely follow the directions.
