cf hood and struts
i bet this has been done to death somewhere(and i did a half-assed search)
i have a seibon cf hood and want to get hood struts to hold the hood up and to keep it stable in a light wind.i also have a cf trunk and the rear struts are fine ,i just took the one off the drivers side and have the one on the passenger side doing all of the work,it is great but i know that will not work for the hood, has anyone done this and what brand did you use. thanks

you can get the top secret hood dampers. they have two versions; one for stock hoods and the other for cf hoods.
it is not recommended to use just any hood dampers, as the pressure is too strong on some of them for cf hoods. especially with seibon hoods being kinda flimsy..
the nrg ones have been used on 350z stillen cf hoods without any problems. but again, they were not meant for cf hoods.
