Tinting taillights for $250

hmm....i know about bats overlays for $40 and everything. I tried putting the overlays on once but messed it up due to the 06 taillights that are like "dented" in. So i asked a tinting shop if they tint taillights, they said they use a spray tint and charge $250 for a replacement if something happens to tailight, basically warranty. To me this seems far past a RIP OFF...but i might be wrong. Whats the average price to get your tailights spray tinted?

I have the same problem, I destroyed all the overlays I've bought. ~$80 worth.

A lot of people think they have, but a lot of issues are fixable if you get them wet again.

overlays>its all about patience and lots of soapy water to help with
placement. I took my time and 1-1/2 hrs later it was done.

or

Paint will always look a little better than overlays but you can't take paint off in 2 minutes when you change your mind down the road.

Discount always on another set . Different places will charge different amounts for installing. But make sure they have experience in applying Vinyl! not just window tint. 2 different materials altogether!
