Cost To Repaint Rear Bumper

My rear bumper has so many scratches, I was thinking I want to have it repainted by a body shop. Does anyone know how much I should expect to pay?

No more than 200.00 to 300.00. You can get your whole nose done for about 700.00.

Depending on your color, the cost will vary

I recently had my front bumper repainted....this required the following:
Removal of bumper
stripping of old paint
repair any blemishes
prime/w flex agent included
paint
clear
wet sand/buff
reinstall bumper

The cost was $620.00. This cost was slightly more due to my Ivory pearl paint which is a three stage paint.

Anything less than $400, I would be sceptical if they strip the original finish, or just sand it down and respray

I had my rear bumper cover repainted/minor repair last year for $547 at an Infiniti dealer. This included removing the bumper cover (which requires removal of the tail lights). They were less expensive than non dealer estimates, and the color match was perfect.

Whatever you do, make sure they remove the bumper cover to paint it. A few more $$$, but you will not risk the joy of dealing with over spray issues.

you're welcome. the prices that are around 500-600 are just about on point. that's around how much it should cost for a nice solid paint job.
