So I've been really busy this week and haven't had the time to post this up, but anyways heres the story.

Last week, my mom and I were sharing the car alot because her accord needed an oil change. I didn't mind because I was cleaning up the garage and stuff and didn't really need to go out much. Before she left, I inspected the car because of her history of giving me two, YES TWO, fully curbed rims on 3 different occasions!

When she came back that night, I took out the trash, and on my way in, i noticed she gave me a new front bumper! Here's the pic:


of course she tries and plays it off like "it wasn't there before?"
And also, this razr pic cannot define the actual damage on the bumper, Its baad, very very bad. and the lip is even worse. Every time I enter the driveway, pull out of a drive through, park at school, it scratches loud...

oh how right you are but does anyone have an approximate idea of fixing price? or do i need a new one?

Aftermarket is slightly out of the picture because this is lease

Mise well fork out the money and get a new bumper since its gonna cost as much to repair it.

 

kinda funny. my gramps had to move my car once to get his car out, but ended up scraping my passenger side door along a pole. needless to say, he felt horrible, but oh well, its family.

 

true its family, but damn!! first make ur mom pay for a new bumper and second DONT LET HER DRIVE IT AGAIN!

 

I really really want to ask her to help me pay for it! however, after my brother went to boot camp and left me without a roomate, I had to ask to live under her house again. Although she doesn't cook/clean (which are my chores), she doesn't ask me to pay rent

So of course I can't really ask her to help me pay for the bumper, or she might ask me to pay rent

 

looks like it will pop right out man. may need a new paint job though.

 

would you happen to know what I need? Does it need to be heated or anything? cuz i already tried popping it out and ended up with mad scars on my hands
I was thinking of a lip to cover it if the paint is bad.

 

That sucks.

I would try heating with a heat gun and then seeing if it will pop out.

Take the grille off and heat the inside of the bumper. I will pop rick back out. If you have any paint scratcher you going to have to either live with it or repaint it.

Not really a big damage.
