guys.i need your opinion on a Bumper Trade
Someone offer me a Nismo Urethane Unpainted Bumper for my 06 Sports bumper with Mesh(Customeautomesh) painted, do you guys think I should do it?
aftermarket stuff is generally garbage and lasts very short periods of time.
OEM trumps all and will last you much much longer.
you may get bored of the nismo bumper and want to go back to stock
OR
you decide that you want to trade in your car or sell it but now you're stuck with some knock off cheapo bumper that the dealership or buyer isn't interested in.
I'd say keep the stock one around in case of a rainy day.

Keep your stock bumper and store it, you never know when it may come in handy.

Of course, the NISMO style front bumper is so close to stock that it often fools people into thinking that you have just added a front lip (in pics, at least). I say it's close enough that many potential buyers would have no idea it's different than OEM.
That said, I wrapped and stored my OEM bumper (just 1000 miles on it and no chips) just in case of accident or as an added incentive for a potential buyer. No question, the NISMO looks better than the '03-'05 OEM front (just slightly more agressive) so most buyers would prefer it, but how it compares to the '06 Sport bumper is your call.
