Do you have to open up the taillight housing to do the tint, or is it applied externally? If you have to open it up, any danger of breaking the lenses?

I'm not a fan of overlays. You can get get it smoked at a bodyshop local to you. Much cleaner look IMO.

Nope it is done on the outside of the tail lights but the fronts you need to open up or 3m makes a clear bra that is tinted..that you can contact www.aerotect.net
